Are you a cabbage fan? Some are and some aren’t. My husband and I love cabbage, and we love this recipe for One-Pot Cabbage Casserole that both he and I grew up having. It’s filled with ground beef, rice, tomatoes, cheese, and of course, cabbage. It’s super easy for any night of tweek and just as special for a Sunday dinner. Plus, it is cooked up all in one pot with no need to bake it in the oven.
Easy, peasy and delicious! This chicken is a must-try! Trust me, once you taste this you won’t get enough of it. I serve this with a side dish and a tossed green salad. Give it a try, it’s worth it. Bonne Appétit!
Chicken breast simmered with a spicy black bean and corn mixture, then topped with cheese and tortilla chip crumbs and baked. Easy and quick to fix weekday casserole with a Mexican flair. Nutritious and kid friendly.
This is a great one-pot dish of green chili chicken and rice with 3 different types of chile peppers - Anaheim, jalapenos and fire roasted green chile peppers, for those of you who like it spicy!
It’s a practical, versatile bread. perfect for sandwiches and French toast (as well as toast of other national origins). Its homemade-ness means it’s also suitable for fancier applications: grill it severely and serve with nice cheeses, tear it off in chunks and dunk it in peppery olive oil or slather it with butter and roasted garlic for an extremely dank garlic bread.
You can certainly eat corned beef with boiled cabbage and carrots, but it can be a great deal more exciting to pile the shredded meat — ruddy pink, salty, fatty and meltingly sweet — into warm flour tortillas, then top it with a bright, crunchy, slightly fiery cabbage slaw. The contrast between the soft and the crisp, the salt and the sweet, is fantastic — particularly if you adorn each taco with a few pickled jalapeños and, perhaps, an additional swipe of mayonnaise. It’s not fusion cooking, nor appropriation. It’s just the fact that everything tastes good on a warm tortilla.
I wanted to lighten up my mother-in-law's wonderful stroganoff recipe and came up with this tasty spin. In our home, we call my easy beef stroganoff "special noodles."
