Sous Vide Flank Steak

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs flank steak
  • ½ C soy
  • ¼ C olive oil
  • ¼ C brown sugar
  • 1 T cider vinegar
  • 1 T Worcester sauce
  • 2 t Dijon
  • 2 t garlic
Steps
  1. Mix all the ingredients together; combine in plastic bag with steak
  2. Sous vide for ~ 7 hrs @ 131
  3. Pat dry, sear in skillet with ¼ C vegetable oil
  4. Reduce sauce while searing meat
  5. Serve immediately
Notes
  • Made on 10/2/21; it was fantastic
  • Made again on 2/25/2023; awesome, let the sous vide go for 9 hrs, seared in blue cast iron, awesome!
  • Could consider doing a corn starch roux to thicken the sauce at the end…
