Basic Pavlova - Donna Hay
Ingredients
  • 150ml egg whites approx 4 eggs
  • 1 cuo caster sugar 220g
  • 1 tbsn cornflour white wings
  • 2 tspn white vinegar
Steps
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 150 fan forced
  2. 2. Place the egg whites in the bowl of electric mixer and whisk to stiff peaks. Gradually add sugar, whisking well, until the mixturw is stiff and glossy
  3. 3. fold through the cornflour and the vinegar and whisk until just combined.
  4. 4. Shape the meringue mixture into an 18cm round shape on a baking tray lined with non stick baking paper.
  5. 5. Reduce the oven temp to 120 and baje 1 hr and 20 mibs
  6. 6. Turn the oven off and alloe the pavlova to cool completely in the oven
  7. 7. Whisk the crean until soft peaks form
  8. Top with desired topping.
