Spiced Pecans

Ingredients
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. ground cloves
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups pecan halves
Steps
  1. Beat egg white and water lightly; set aside. Combine sugar, salt and spices. Dip pecans in egg white mixture, then in sugar mixture. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 30 minutes.
Notes
  • I simply toss the pecans in the egg white until well coated. Next, I toss the pecans with the sugar and spice mixture until evenly coated. Works like a charm.
