Asparagus Galette low carb and regular
Try using crust and asparagus but a real ricotta/cheese sauce
Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour
  • ½ cup tapioca flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)
  • 1 large pasture-raised egg
  • 4 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 egg, whisked (optional, for shine)

  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 1 small shallot
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 lemon, zest only
  • Chili flakes (optional)

  • subheading: Alternate filling:
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • Kosher salt
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese (can sub goat cheese)
  • ½ cup grated gruyere, comte, or gouda cheese
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan or pecorino cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Red pepper flakes or freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 large egg or egg yolk (optional, for shine)
