Ingredients
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ lb ground pork
- ¾ cup uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 medium cabbage, core removed and chopped
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 to 4 cups beef broth
- 1½ cups V8 or other vegetable juice
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp paprika or cayenne pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
Steps
- Turn pressure cooker on to sauté until hot. Add 1 tbsp oil and the onions. Sauté about 3 minutes and add the garlic.
- Add in the ground pork and beef and brown. Drain the fat.
- Stir in chopped cabbage and all the other ingredients, reserving some beef broth.
- Set to 5 (to 10) minutes and natural pressure release.
- Remove bay leaf. Thin as desired with extra broth, add salt and pepper to taste.

- 1 pound hamburger meat
- Diced onion
- 1 to 2 minced cloves of garlic
- Cubed cabbage
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Sauté the meat, onions, and garlic. Add the remaining ingredients and high pressure for 20 minutes then QR. [me: 20 seems too long.]
