Best Pasta with Pecorino-Zucchini Sauce and Basil
Ingredients
  • 1½ lbs medium zucchini
  • 1 lb spaghetti or bucatini
  • Kosher salt and ground pepper
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 medium garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
  • 2 tbsp salted butter, cut into 2 pieces
  • 2 oz pecorino Romano cheese, finely grated (1cup), plus more to serve
  • ½ cup lightly packed fresh basil, chopped
