Hot Cross Buns Thermomix Recipe (Gluten-Free)
Ingredients
  • subheading: Dough:
  • 160 g water (extra 20g for GF Simply Wize - if using other GF mixes start with 20 g less and keep adding in 20 g increments until sticky dough forms)
  • 3 tsp dry yeast
  • 40 g coconut sugar or caster sugar
  • 250 g Bakers flour or GF Bread Mix Flour - we used Simply Wize as it contains egg
  • 1 tsp bread improver (optional) GF if required
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 80 g currants or choc chips /alternative dried fruit
  • subheading: For the Cross:
  • 60 g plain flour gluten-free if required
  • 70 g water
  • subheading: Glaze:
  • 50 g sugar
  • 70 g water
