Meat Pies
Old family recipe handed down from Grandmother Blanch [Swisher] O’Shea

Servings: Makes one pie.

Ingredients
  • Double pie crust
  • 5 to 7 Thin Sliced peeled potatoes,
  • 1 thin sliced onion
  • ½ to 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Steps
  1. Place bottom pie crust into pie plate.
  2. Layer ½ of potatoes in pie plate then add all of the onions and the potatoes.
  3. Now add the rest of the potatoes.
  4. Cover with top crust.
  5. Bake in a hot oven (375*) for 1hr & 10 min. Or until crust ic golden and center is cooked through.
  6. Don't forget to vent the top crust
Notes
  • A tiny splash of water if you think it may need it.
