Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ cup of raw unsalted cashews (½ cup PB2 powder for lower in fat option, or ½ cup white beans)
- ½ cup veggie broth, ½ cup water
- 3 TBSP of nutritional yeast
- 4 TBSP of instant mashed potatoes (preferably a brand with minimal ingredients - just dehydrated potatoes)
- 1 TSBP lemon juice
- 1.5 TSP white miso paste
- 1 TSP of smoked paprika
- 1 TSP of maple syrup/agave
- ¼ to 1 TSP turmeric
- 1 TSP of garlic powder
- 1 TSP of onion powder
- I like to double this recipe so I have more. That doesn’t mean I use more per serving, I just have more so I don’t run out as fast.
