Asparagus Wrapped in Prosciutto

Ingredients
  • 30 stalks asparagus, blanched
  •  
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  •  
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  •  
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. blanch asparagus until just tender (2 minutes)
  3. Wrap 6 stalks in one piece of prosciutto and repeat to make six bundles
  4. Place them in buttered shallow baking dish and sprinkle evenly with cheese
  5. Drizzled butter over all and sprinkle with pepper
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bundles are heated through and cheese is melted.
  7. If making ahead, cover and chill - bring to room temp before baking
