Creamy Beef Noodle Bake

1 lb ground beef

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

1 package (12 oz) wide egg noodles- (cook one minute less as the package calls for as they will cook slightly more when baking in oven)

¾ cup sour cream

1 container (16 oz). 4% cottage cheese (equals 2 cups)

2 cups shredded cheese ( Colby jack)
