First try- millet, red lentils, wild rice, black rice, quinoa and added 1 pkg of riced cauliflower. 28 oz can of tomatoes, dried veggie bits, spinach, no salt seasoning, 4 T nooch, pepper flakes, garlic, red pepper seasoning.
Ingredients
  • ½ c of 5 of these dry starches
  • -----
  • Lentils- red and brown
  • Quinoa
  • Split peas
  • Pasta- comes out mushy
  • Rice- but brown takes longer
  • Black eyed peas
  • Millet
  • Black rice
  • Soy curls- break up large chunks
  • Wild rice- soak in boiling water while adding other ingredients
  • Pearled barley...or regular barley-soaked
  • Steel cut oats
  • Beans if they are soaked a bit
  •  
  • ½ to ¾ c dried veggie bits, or any veggies
  • 1 can tomatoes, or spaghetti sauce (my idea)
  • Frozen chopped greens, shrooms, etc
  • Seasoning ...no salt seasoning ...or Italian seasoning
  • 1 to 2 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 1 to 3 T nutritional yeast
  •  
  • Toppers
  • Olives
  • Artichoke hearts
Steps
  1. Cover with water
  2. Ipot 18 to 20min, qr
  3. Add more water if needed when done
  4. ---
  5. Crockpot… 4 hours on high
  6. Or 6 to 7 hours on low
