Classic Crisco® Flaky Pie Crust (Loretta Lynn’s)
Turned out perfect! So flaky and golden brown....Will be my go to on all pies!

You might be tempted to grab some good ol’ butter for this recipe. Resist the urge. Shortening is the key to perfect pie crust!
Ingredients
  • subheading: SINGLE CRUST:
  • 1 ½ cups Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 4 to 8 tablespoons ice cold water

  • 2 cups Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 5 to 10 tablespoons ice cold water

  • subheading: DEEP DISH DOUBLE CRUST:
  • 2 ⅔ cups Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 6 to 10 tablespoons ice cold water
