Ingredients
  • 500 g tube pasta. Your choice
  •  
  • 3 cups milk
  •  
  • 3  tbsp  butter
  •  
  • 3  tbsp flour
  •  
  • ½. tsp. salt
  •  
  • Pinch  of pepper and dry mustard
  •  
  • 12. oz. sharp cheddar cheese
Steps
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions  Drain and transfer to a casserole dish
  2. In a saucepan melt butter; blend in flour,salt, pepper and mustard
  3. Remove from heat and SLOWLY  add milk stirring to combine smoothly
  4. Return to heat and cook ,STIRRING  CONSTANTLY, until sauce is thick and has bubbled for 1 minute ( have patience)
  5. Remove from heat and add cheese. Let cheese melt in sauce stirring occasionally
  6. Pour sauce over pasta. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes
