Ingredients
- 2 TB oil
- 1 TB minced onion
- 1 TB minced garlic or granulated garlic
- ½ TB ground ginger
- 1 tsp salt, or to taste
- 1 tsp cayenne powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 cup chicken broth (or water)
- 2 lbs ground beef
Steps
- Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.
- Toss in minced garlic , onion and ground ginger for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef, break up as much as possible.
- Cook until no longer pink.
- Drain some of the liquid off but not all.
- Add spices.
- Stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add stock and cook til low boil.
- Reduce heat to medium low and simmer til sauce is mostly reduced.
- Serve over cauliflower rice or salad.
