Ingredients
  • 4 lb chuck roast
  • salt and pepper for seasoning

  • 2 C beef broth
  • 1½ C red wine
  • 5 sprigs thyme
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
