Ingredients
  • 2.5 pound chuck roast, cut in 6 pieces
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 cloves of garlic, smashed
  • Splash of soy sauce
  • enough beef broth/water to cover
  •  
  • spaghetti
  • subheading: toppings:
  • hard boiled egg
  • green onions
  • soy sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, whatever
Steps
  1. salt and pepper meat and sear in the pot.
  2. add seasonings, garlic, broth/water to cover (or more)
  3. meat/stew button (35 minutes).  NPR for about 10 minutes.
  4. remove the meat, shred it, skim some of the fat off the top.  in the meantime, cook the spaghetti in the broth.
  5. Top with hard boiled egg and lots of green onions.  There's a variety of other toppings that people use, we like combination of soy sauce, hot sauce, and ketchup.
