Kanom Jeeb (Thai Dumplings Recipe)
Ingredients
  • 400 g pork (minced)
  • 1 egg
  • 10 g coriander root
  • 5 g black peppercorns
  • 10 g garlic
  • 30 g carrots (finely diced)
  • 20 g green onions (finely diced)
  • 10 g dried shiitake mushroom (finely diced)
  • 3 Tbsps golden mountain sauce (Thai soy sauce)
  • 1 ½ Tbsp white sugar
  • 2 ½ Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 package of dumpling wrappers
  • garlic oil (to apply a small layer of oil to the wontons)
  • crispy fried garlic (to taste, for garnishing)
  • 1 ½ Tbsp sesame oil
