Steak with Turnip Pasta and Asparagus
Quick and Easy Meal for when your short on time (r1 approved) Prep Time: 10 min. Cook Time: 20 min

Ingredients
  • 10 oz of Steak (I used Hanger Steak but you can use whatever cut you would like)
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 1 cup Onions (chopped)
  • 2 cups Asparagus
  • 2 cups Turnips
  • 2½ tbsp Healthy Fat Option (coconut, grapeseed or avocado oil
  • 4 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried Rosemary
  • 2 garlic cloves Minced
  • Salt and Pepper
Steps
  1. Pre-Heat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Prep your turnips by slicing them with a mandolin to get the sting like pasta effect
  3. Once cut to desired thickness put in a bowl and mix in your garlic, healthy fat option and rosemary. Add in your salt and pepper and pour onto a cooky sheet.
  4. On the same pan you can add your asparagus. Drizzle your ½ tbsp of healthy fat option over the asparagus and salt and pepper (you can also use a different cooky sheet if you feel its to crowded). Bake in over for 10 to 15min.
  5. While thats baking take your remaining 1 tbsp of healthy fat option in a pan add your onions and let cook for about 2 to 3 mins then add in your mushrooms. Let cook for another 3 min. Add in your steak and add your salt and pepper. Place your 4 rosemary sprigs ontop of your steak and surround your steak with the onion and mushroom mixture. Cover with a lid and let cook to desired temp. (I only did about 3min per side for a medium rare).
  6. Let your steak rest for a few minutes before cutting into it to save the moisture. Once your ready you can pull out your asparagus and turnip pasta cut your steak and serve. ENJOY!
