Light Glute Free Sorghum Bread Recipe (Free of Dairy, Soy, Rice, Corn, Oat, Nuts, & Tapioca)
Ingredients
  • 1-½ cups gluten-free sorghum flour (or oat flour)
  • 1-½ cups potato starch
  • ¼ cup golden flaxseed meal (or brown)
  • 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
  • ¼ cup flax seed meal (optional)
  • 4-½ teaspoons guar gum
  • 2-¼ teaspoons instant dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon gluten free baking powder (Rumford)
  • 1-½ cups (minus 1 tablespoon) water
  • 6 tablespoon  extra light olive oil (¼ cup if using oat flour)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or sugar or brown rice syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon gluten-free apple cider vinegar
  • 4 large egg whites*, at room temperature
