Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  • ½ C. chopped onion
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 T. butter
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 T. flour
  • 1 t. salt
  • ¼ t. pepper
  • ¼ t. paprika
  • 1 C. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C. sour cream
Steps
  1. Saute onions and garlic in a little butter in a hot skillet.
  2. Stir in meat, flour and seasonings and saute about 5 minutes or until meat loses its color.
  3. Add mushrooms, then soup.
  4. Simmer about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in sour cream and heat, but do not boil. Add a little milk, if needed.
  6. Season to taste. Serve on hot rice or noodles.
