A collected recipe from my recipe box. From recipe cards my mom received in the mail years ago, recipes hand written from family members, clipped from coupon circlers, recipe cards from the store, recipe cards found in certain food boxes, recipes from food tubs, magazines and can food labels.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces large wagon wheel pasta or elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups frozen peas or cut green beans
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 (6½ ounce) containers or 4 (4 ounce) containers light semi-soft cheese with garlic and herb
  • 12 ounces cooked ham or cooked chicken, cut into chunks
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Steps
  1. In Dutch oven or large pot cook pasta according to package directions. Stir in peas last minute (or stir in green beans last 3 minutes). Drain pasta mixture; return to pot. Add milk, soft cheese, ham and cheddar cheese. Cook and stir until heated through. Makes 8 servings.
