Cincinnati-Style Chili
Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion, grated

  • 2 t kosher salt
  • 1 t ground cinnamon

  • 1 t garlic salt
  • ½ t ground allspice
  • ½ t freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ t cayenne pepper
  • ¼ t ground cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 T white wine vinegar
  • subheading: For Serving:
  • 1 pound spaghetti, cooked according to package directions and tossed in olive oil to prevent sticking
  • 1 15-oz can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 2 8-oz blocks cheddar cheese, grated
