Canning Salsa Verde (Tomatillo Sauce)
Ingredients
  • 5 cups tomatillos, husked & chopped
  • 1 ½ cups bell pepper or other sweet pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup hot peppers, chopped (such as jalapeno)
  • 4 cups onion, diced
  • 1 cup lime juice (or lemon juice)
  • 1 whole garlic bulb, peeled and minced
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
  • 3 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
