Cabbage Soup
This cabbage soup recipe makes the impossible possible: using a whole head of cabbage at once! Almost every time I buy kale, I prepare it for weeks, adding some to the salad, some to the bowl, some more to the taco, and so on. The first time I made this cabbage soup recipe, I was shocked. I started by adding half of the cabbage. As it wilted, it merged with the vegetable and herb soup.I didn’t want it to disappear, I ended up making cabbage soup so I added some. Before I knew it, every ounce of my kale was in the jar!
Ingredients
  • 1 large cabbage.
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 4 cans of diced tomatoes
  • 2 bag Onion Soup Mix all flavors.
  • Ground beef
Steps
  1. Fill a large saucepan halfway with water, bring to a boil, then add the vegetables, then bring to a simmer.
  2. Cook 1 to 2 pounds of burger separately draining any fat.
  3. Add any spices you like and Lipton soup mix.
  4. Add the meat, simmer for a few more minutes then taste
