One-Pot Pasta in Two Simple Steps
Ingredients
  • 320g maccheroni al ferretto, orecchiette or any pasta of your choice
  • 150ml pure cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • Juice and zest of a lemon
  • 60ml (¼ cup) extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to serve
  • Pinch of dried chilli flakes
  • Large pinch of sea salt
  • 600ml boiling water, use your kettle to save time
  • 150g or half a bunch of cavolo nero leaves (also know as Tuscan kale), roughly torn into small pieces
  • 50g (⅓ cup) toasted almonds, roughly chopped
  • 70g parmesan cheese, grated, plus extra to serve
