Air-Fryer Chicken Katsu
Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounce; 226 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast or 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (4 to 5 ounces; 110 to 140g each)
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup (4 1/5 oz.; 128 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • ¾ cup Japanese-style panko bread crumbs (about 2 ½ ounces; 70 g)
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil such as canola or vegetable oil
  • Cooking Spray
  • Homemade or store-bought tonkatsu sauce for serving
  • Finely shredded cabbage for serving, optional
  • Steamed white rice , optional
