  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 tablespoon honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 small-to-medium garlic clove, sliced into several pieces
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • 10 twists of freshly ground black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
  • For serving: Crusty sourdough or crostini or toasted pita wedges
