- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 6 ounces shiitake or other mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup kimchi
- 2 cups broth
- optional: 1 small piece of kombu seaweed, about 2x4 inches
- one 11 ounce tube soft tofu ("sun" or "soon" tofu)
- 1 egg
- 1 to 2 green onions, thinly sliced
