Ingredients
- 2 to 2½ lbs. bone-in chicken pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 can chopped green chilies
- 1 lb. dry great northern beans,
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. oregano
- ½ tsp. cayenne powder
- ½ to 1 tsp. chili powder
- 32 oz. box chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- Salt, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 1 cup milk
