Ingredients
  • 6 slices bacon, diced
  • ¼ c onion, finely chopped
  • 3 T flour
  • dash of pepper, to taste
  • 3 c milk
  • 2 cans whole kernel corn, drained (can sub fresh or frozen)
  • 2 can cream-style corn
Steps
  1. In a large saucepan, fry bacon crisp.
  2. Remove all but 3 tablespoons of drippings.
  3. Saute onions.
  4. Stir in flour and pepper.
  5. Gradually stir in milk.
  6. Add corn.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until soup comes to a boil and is slightly thickened.
  8. Garnish with bacon.
