Ingredients
- 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 (16 oz.) container cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) container ricotta cheese
- 8 oz. + 3 oz. mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- ~2 quarts Spaghetti sauce
Steps
- Cook lasagna noodles, rinse and cool.
- Mix ricotta, cottage cheese, 8 oz ricotta, and egg together. Set aside.
- Spread some sauce in bottom of 9x13 casserole pan.
- Spread layer of noodles on top of sauce, then spread a layer of the cheese mixture on top of noodles. Add a layer of sauce, noodle, cheese, and repeat until the pan is full (3 to 4 layers).
- Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Optional: also sprinkle with parmesan cheese ("4 cheese lasagna").
- Bake at 350° F for ~1 hour, or until cheese on top is melted well.
