frozen beef patties, or prepare fresh (we use Impossible Meat)

slices of white american cheese

macaroni salad

hash browns, cubed

sliced bread (if desired)

subheading: SAUCE:

medium onion, chopped

clove garlic, minced

tbsp. oil

lb. triple-ground beef (we use Impossible Meat)

cup water

can tomato paste

tsp. ground black pepper

tsp. chili powder

1 ½ - tsp. paprika

½ - tsp. ground cumin

tsp. salt (to taste)

subheading: PASTA SALAD:

Ingredients

1 pound Ditalini pasta, or other short pasta or shell

2 celery ribs, minced

1 red bell pepper, seeded and minced

¼ red onion, minced

¼ cup sweet pickles, chopped

1 cup mayonnaise

¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon pickle juice

1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Chopped parsley, and/or green onion, if desired.

Note: Ingredients may have been altered from the original.
