Chocolate Coconut Sourdough Bread
Added 65g walnuts, 65g dried cranberries & 150g chocolate chips after ON bulk Fermentation.

Baking: Lined DO & loaf pan with parchment paper Added filling after bulk fermentation. NEXT TIME: @ time of lamination - before all the S & F  
Boule: Baked in a DO & slashed, too deeply, however.
Twisted loaf in a loaf pan with another loaf pan as a lid.
Sprinkled cinnamon & nutmeg on the cloth for pre bake proofing & on top when baking.
CUT several hours after cooling.
DELICIOUS! Even the crumbs
Will definitely make again.
CHANGES for NEXT TIME:
use fewer chocolate chips, nuts & cranberries
Add filling @ time of lamination.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup starter
  • ½ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 to 5 cups all-purpose flour
