Vegan Korean Fried "Chicken"

  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ⅓ cup cornstarch
  • oil for frying (olive, avocado, etc.)

  • ¼ cup agave nectar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce, low-sodium
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds garnish
