  • ⅔ cup instant nonfat dry milk powder
  • 12 saltine crackers made into crumbs
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped mild green chile peppers, drained
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, PLUS
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 ounces Monterey jack cheese, shredded
