Beef Bourguignon
Ingredients
  • Stephanie - I had a joint of silverside which I cut into chunks. Browned them on sauté in a little oil and removed. Fried some lardons on sauté. Put the beef back in with the leaked juices to deglaze. Added 2 onions cut into wedges, 2 crushed garlic cloves, a beef stock cube, about 200ml red wine, a bouquet garni, a bay leaf. Brought it up to simmer. Lid on. HP 35 mins. 5 mins NPR. Added a pack of button mushrooms, seasoning and a dash of Worcester sauce and cooked HP 4 mins. QR. I thickened the sauce just a little because I wasn't serving any carbs.
