Chicken loaf. Ham loaf

Ingredients
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 pkg rapid rinse yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cups Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 lb. Cubed ham
  • 1 cups Cubed Swiss cheese
  • ½ cups chopped dill pickles
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Mix in bowl

  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • ½ cups Italian salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cups slivered almonds ( optional)
  • 1 green onions,chopped
  • 2 stalks celery,chopped
  • 1 ½ cups farmers cheese ,cubed
  • Mix in bowl
Steps
  1. Set aside one cup flour.
  2. Mix remaining flour and salt together.
  3. Mix warm water with sugar and yeast,let sit for a few minutes.
  4. Stir water mixture,mustard and melted butter into flour mixture.
  5. Mix in enough reserved flour to make soft dough.
  6. Knead 6 minutes.
  7. Roll dough 14x12 inches.place on parchment paper in a jelly roll pan.
  8. Place filling down the center ⅓.
  9. Cut one inch intervals down both sides.
  10. Twist and lay ends over the cuts.
  11. Let covered dough rise for about 30 minutes.
  12. Brush loaf with egg.
  13. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 375.
