- ¼ cup butter, partially melted in microwave

- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 lb apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped* (I used Gingergold)
