Amish Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ cups (300g) sugar
  • 2 cups (430g) brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups (1 bag) chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (1 bag) chocolate chunks
  • ½ cup (one (3.4oz) box) butterscotch pudding
  • ½ cup (one (3.4oz) box) vanilla pudding
  • 6¼ cups (750g) all-purpose flour
Steps
  1. Melt butter. Mix butter, oil, and sugars.
  2. Add flavorings and eggs.
  3. Mix in dry ingredients.
  4. Let dough sit at room temp for 20 minutes to settle before baking.
  5. Extra large cookies - weigh 100 grams of dough. Roll in balls. Bake 12 mins.
  6. Medium cookies - weigh 50 grams of dough. Roll in balls. Bake 10 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
