Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (uncooked)
- 2 eggs (½ cup sour cream?)
- 2 large cloves of garlic , minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp Parsley
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika (optional)
- ¼ c. Ketchup
- 40 grinds of salt
- 20 grinds of pepper
- 1.5 Cups cooked rice
- Or
- ½ cup minute rice (uncooked)
- 1 head of cabbage
- Tomato Sauce or V8
Steps
- Bring large pot of water to a boil. Summer cabbage head whole until leaves are translucent and pliable.
- Drain water, trim out rough center part and core of cabbage.
- Mix first 10 ingredients and shape in to 16 balls.
- Wrap with cabbage and place in a large roasting pan.
- Pour V8 juice until the cabbage rolls are almost covered.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Add more V8 if necessary.
- Uncover for the last 15 min to brown.
- Serve with cooked mashed potatoes.
