Ingredients
  • ½ cup cooked pumpkin or canned pure pumpkin puree (ideally from a BPA-free can)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 slice of fresh ginger (about ½ teaspoon)
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ cup water, or more as needed
  • 2 large leaves of kale or turnip greens, stems removed
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 to 2 pitted dates (This will be a savory smoothie; add dates if you prefer a sweeter options)
