Ingredients
  • INGREDIENTS
  • 10 ounces of ground pork
  • 10 ounces of shrimp
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp of fish sauce
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of ginger, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp of stock
  • A drizzle of sesame oil
  • ½ cup of diced scallion
  • 60 to 70 pieces of wonton wrappers
Steps
  1. Rough chop the shrimp and add it to the pork
  2. subheading: Then add:
  3. 1 tbsp of soy sauce,
  4. 1 tbsp of Chinese cooking wine,
  5. 1 tbsp of oyster sauce,
  6. 1 tbsp of fish sauce
  7. ¼ tsp of salt,
  8. 1 tsp of sugar,
  9. 3 cloves of garlic,
  10. 1 tsp of grated ginger,
  11. 1 egg.
  12. 3 tbsp of the stock (if you have it)
  13. 2 tsp of sesame oil
  14. Add in ½ cup of diced scallion and mix it.
  15. Combine above ingredients well
  16. Take 1 piece of the wonton wrapper, put some filling in the middle - about 2 tsp.
Notes
  • I use this recipe for pot stickers and wontons. That’s not the “authentic” way, but it’s what I like.
