Cheeseburger Chowder (Angie's recipe)

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ c celery, chopped
  • 1 c carrots, shredded
  • ¼ c onion, chopped
  • 5 T flour
  • 1 t salt (optional)
  • 1 (10½ oz) can beef broth
  • 5 c milk
  • 2 c diced potatoes
  • 1½ c cheddar cheese, shredded
Steps
  1. Brown ground beef, drain.
  2. Add celery, carrots, potatoes, and onion in a large kettle.
  3. Cook until tender.
  4. Stir in flour and salt.
  5. Add beef broth and milk.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Add cheese and stir until it melts.

  • This is our second favorite version of the cheeseburger chowder soup recipe.
