Servings: Makes 3 quarts

1 quart water 1 quart water
1½cups sugar 1½cups sugar
5 cinnamon sticks 5 cinnamon sticks
10 whole cloves 10 whole cloves
5 thin slices fresh ginger root 5 thin slices fresh ginger root
2 cups strong brewed tea 2 cups strong brewed tea
1 quart cider 1 quart cider
6 oz can frozen can orange juice concentrate, thawed. 6 oz can frozen can orange juice concentrate, thawed.
2 Tab lemon juice 2 Tab lemon juice

Combine water and sugar in a large sauce pan;
Heat over low heat until sugar is dissolved
Add cinnamon cloves & ginger and let simmer on low for 2 hours or turn off heat and set aside overnight .....
Remove spices with a slotted Spoon;
add tea, cider, orange juices do lemon
Heat and serve warm.......Makes 3 quarts
