Crispy Pork Carnitas

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs pork butt cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 orange cut in half
  • 1 onion cut in half
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • ½ cup chicken broth
Steps
  1. Place pork, salt, oregano and cumin in pressure pot
  2. Combine spices and combine with pork
  3. Squeeze orange all over pork.
  4. Put the squeezed orange in the pot, along with the onion garlic and chicken broth
  5. Put pressure lid on and PC for 20 minutes
  6. QR..open lid and remove orange, onion and garlic cloves
  7. Set Foodi to sautê. allow liquid to simmer until it reduces, about 10 to 15 minutes
  8. Once liquid has reduced, close crisper lid, select broil and adjust time to 8 minutes
  9. Once complete use the crispy delicious meat in tacos, sandwiches, etc.
