German Pancakes

Ingredients
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c flour
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 c milk
  • ½ t salt
Steps
  1. Whip eggs until thick and lemon-colored.
  2. Add milk, flour, and salt.
  3. Heat butter in a pyrex casserole pan in the oven.
  4. Pour batter into pan of melted butter.
  5. Bake at 450*  for 15 to 20 minutes.
Notes
  • Pancake will be shaped like a box with irregular high sides and a sunken middle. Delicious with syrup or try filling the center with pie filling or preserves.
