  • ¼ cup unsulphured molasses
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 127 grams (about 1 cup) garbanzo bean flour
  • 140 grams (about 1 cup) sweet sorghum flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon gluten-free baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar, more if necessary
