Creamed Brussels Sprouts

  • 4 cups brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup half and half
  • ¼ cup nonfat milk
  • ½ cup shredded lite white cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. light butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Melt butter on the stove top in an oven-safe cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add in onions and Brussel sprouts and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, until slightly charred.
